Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and friendly Bus Driver to join our team. As our Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating our bus and providing excellent service to our residents. CDL Licensing is not required. We will train you.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate bus and transport residents to/from appointments/facilities.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and presentable bus interior.
- Assist residents with boarding, disembarking, and securing their belongings.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address inquiries or concerns.
- Communicate effectively with driving scheduler, fellow drivers, and residents.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus.
- Follow established routes and schedules.
- Ensure the safety of passengers by following all safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in bus driving or related field is preferred but not required.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge and checks.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends when needed.
